Mission Statement
Grace
Fellowship exists for the Glory of God. Through the use of
Gospel-centered worship, expressed through sound doctrine,
prayer, fellowship, and evangelism, Grace Fellowship strives to
establish in disciples a yearning for the unity of the faith in
Christ Jesus.
Vision Statement
Grace Fellowship desires to be…
- A
Cross-centered church. Balanced in the Spirit and Truth.
Desiring the fullness of the Spirit. Motivated by grace.
Pursuing holiness. Grounded in the Word.
- A
family-focused group of believers seeking to minister to the
family unit by teaching and encouraging parents and children
and singles in the biblical application of God’s Word.
Grace Fellowship
desires to …
- Teach sound
doctrine, encourage biblical application, and to be a
resource of materials through counseling, discipleship,
encouragement, and correction toward the goal of Christian
maturity, all thereby expressed in our agape love to Christ
and His Body.
- Provide a
context for growth and encouragement of the use of all the
abilities and spiritual gifts, which God in His sovereignty
has given each one for the building up of the body for the
work of the ministry.
- Create a
context for worship, teaching of sound doctrine, prayer,
fellowship, and evangelism in care groups where a believer
can seek to fulfill God’s command of “working out our
salvation” together in a loving, intimate and caring setting
for the Glory of God.
- Teach and
equip parents to grow in their faith and to disciple their
children toward Christian maturity through a parent-driven
youth ministry in the context of care groups comprised of
parents and students.
- Teach and
encourage local and global outreach through the sending and
supporting of missionaries who are in agreement with our
mission statement.
- Provide a
facility that would have adequate space and usefulness to
contribute to the fulfillment of the mission statement of
making disciples.
Summary
All
that we share and practice flows out of the work of God's grace,
God's wisdom, and God's power that is clearly displayed through
the cross. “ But far be it from me to boast except in the
cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been
crucified to me, and I to the world.” (Galations 6:14)For
that reason, we will make our boast in the cross of Christ and
seek through our practice as a local church to display its
wondrous glory.
