PREACHING
INTERNSHIP
AN 8-WEEK INTENSIVE SUMMER PROGRAM FOCUSED ON PREACHING DEVELOPMENT AND PASTORAL MENTORSHIP.
Are you sensing a call to preach? This intensive internship runs from the end of May through the end of July and provides real ministry experience in a church setting. You'll work alongside an experienced pastor, progress from teaching Bible studies to preaching full sermons, complete reading and writing assignments on preaching and theology, and receive constant feedback and coaching throughout the summer. Housing and a stipend are provided.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
Work alongside the pastor Monday through Thursday in the office, observing sermon preparation, pastoral counseling, and the daily rhythms of ministry. The program follows a three-phase approach: you'll start by teaching Bible studies and delivering brief devotionals, progress to preaching mini-sermons with detailed feedback, and finish by preaching full Sunday evening services.

WHO SHOULD APPLY
We're looking for young men who are sensing a call to pastoral ministry and want to test that calling and polish their preaching skills. You should hold to the doctrines of grace, have a teachable spirit, and be able to commit to the full 8 weeks. No prior preaching experience is required, just a genuine desire to learn and grow. Please note, our housing only allows for single men at this time.
